St George family Trip

Mike was able to take a Friday off we were going to go camping up at Flaming Gorge but no one was able to come with us so last minute on Thursday Mike booked us a hotel down in St George. It is such a long drive down. We stayed at the Red Lion Hotel it was a nice hotel had a nice pool you could go in or out. It was so hot that by the time we got down there we got dinner then went swimming then it was bed time. The next morning on Saturday the first stop I wanted to make was to the St George Temple let the kids walk around. We went in to the visitor center and looked around and watched a movie. we attempted to take some pictures in front of the temple but someone was always getting cut out,
one of the best pictures we could get.

After the temple trip we wanted to go hiking so we went on out way to the Snow Canyon state park but has not cash so we went to one of the best splash pads in Utah the kids loved it and we loved walking though it also. It was a nice way to cool off from the temps that were in 106 degrees.

After the kids all dried off we went to the Children's Museum all they ask for is a donation. It was so fun and the kids loved it.

On Sunday the 23rd we started to head home but first stop was to Zions National Park Mike and the kids have never been there I have when I was younger. It was very hot but we started at the very top they have a shuttle that takes you to the stops. The first stop that we got off to hike was Riverside Walk ( temple of sinawava) it was 2.2/3.51.5 hours long so it was not very hard the kids did complain but I know they had fun.

Next stop to hike was Weeping Rock this was very short but all up hill it was only 30min walk when you get to the top the rock have water coming off of them you stand under and get wet or you can try to drink it,it was awesome.
