Moab

This summer we went on a family vacation to Moab, it was the first time I've ever been there. We left on Sunday Aug 3rd we left our house about 10:00. We arrived at out hotel in Green River around 2:40 we checked in and the kids started to watch cartoons while Mike and I started to plan our dinner time. After looking at a few restaurant's we decided to go to the Tamarisk which is right on the Green River it was amazing and great food. We were never able to see any wild life.

After dinner we headed back to the hotel watched TV and tried to plan our days out. On the second day we wanted to go and check some hiking places out. On our way we stopped to eat at Burger King while we were there it started to rain a big down pour there was flooding. So we waited it out and ate our lunch. After it cleared up we went to go find our hiking trail.

This is the beginning of our hike. We had to take it easy since there was just a flash flooding.

Because of all the water the trail was muddy so grace got her foot stuck in the mud and so did I we got a good laugh out of it. The trail was washed out so we had to take the high road to get around it. On out hike it started to rain again so we headed back to the car and by the time we made it to the car it had stopped raining.

 

  After we cleaned out muddy shoes off we started to head back to Moab we stopped at the bridge that the Colorado river went under.
